MEZMURE is a professional DJ, recording artist, music producer, songwriter and creative director with extensive experience across live entertainment, music production, artist development, event programming, touring, brand partnerships and creative strategy.

His musical work incorporates influences from house, Afro house, Afro tech, amapiano, disco, Ethiopian music, African rhythm and global electronic music. A significant component of his artistic identity is the integration of his African heritage and international upbringing into contemporary electronic music — original composition, production, songwriting, vocal performance and the development of distinctive cross-cultural musical concepts.

Raised in New Zealand, professionally established in Australia and of African heritage, his career has been shaped by exposure to multiple cultures and international music communities — drawing particularly from the musical relationship between Africa, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and contemporary global dance culture.
